Kanye, Kanye, Kanye… What the heck, Man? Why are you jamming up our social media feeds; gobbling up all the news, talk, and pop culture shows, absorbing print space, and consuming precious conversation time with family and friends with your constant lunacy?
You are someone who is totally engulfed in your own narcissistic madness. Somewhere along the way it was programmed into you that you are a very special boy. Your wonderful Mother assuredly drove that point home for you. She was right, and so are all the other mothers in the world instilling pride and confidence into their children. Your point of view is introspective up to and including what you know — your surroundings, upbringing, experiences, and viewpoints. The people you have accepted into your life have bolstered and buttressed your egocentric thought processes to the point where you feel entitled to a bully pulpit for infusing your perspective into our worlds via a constant barrage of your unsolicited psychosis.
You are special, Kanye, and so are millions of others. You constantly anchor yourself above the fray which is an exalted position best left to the talented, artistic, extroverts like yourself. Dazzling others with a proverbial slight of hand into believing you are somehow the answer to a new world order of thinking and believing is as old as humankind itself.
Many have come before you, many are here now alongside you, and many will follow you. Most will develop the maturity needed to handle their own ideolistic egocentric behavior. You do not have a monopoly on enlightment. Our job as mere mortals is to be skeptical and not succumb to the grandeur pushed our way by others looking to supplant answers as old as time in those outside themselves.
Please continue on your path of greatness and attempt to infuse better things in this world, but take this under advisement if nothing else:
We appreciate what you bring to the world through your craft, but please let your art speak for itself. If you have done your job properly, it should silence the compulsion for you to expose us to your constant, mindless, boastful, self-grandizing, borish, ramblings. Respect, composure, maturity, grace, humility, and dignity are worthy giftings in and of themselves. There really is such a thing as bad press… Sandy
