Happy Valentine’s Day! I love my reader nation! You all give me an opportunity to do what I love. I appreciate your giving my site a look-see, and am most grateful for each and every one of my registered subscribers. I hope you continue to come back to my blog, give your opinions, start a conversation, forward to your friends & family, and enjoy the journey with me while we explore social behaviors, pop culture, social media, philosophy, entertainment, gardening, and just plain stuff.
Today’s word of caution: I wouldn’t recommend making any promises to anyone today because it could come back to bite you in the rear-end if things don’t work out ruining future Valentines’ Days. Jus’ sayin’.
I hope you enjoy your day and that you celebrate by surrounding yourself with good thoughts, warm feelings, and the people who are meaningful to you. Also a heart-shaped box of assorted candies, chocolate covered strawberries, a giant musical greeting card with a whistling wolf, bubbly champagne in a flute not a red solo cup or beer stein, a candlelit dinner of something besides burgers or fried chicken or tacos, a dozen long-stemmed red roses sans thorns with a little babies breath mixed in, deep purple silk pajamas or whatever color you prefer except yellow which may not play that well on love-me day, a diamond necklace or bracelet or tiara, a large soft cuddly teddy bear wearing a cute little knitted sweater with a heart applique on the chest, red & white I-Love-U balloons, a cookie or fruit bouquet, and a replay of An Affair to Remember, or maybe the Notebook or Dirty Dancing, but not Fast and Furious 7. (Although FF7 is pretty sweet.) That stuff really helps too. Thank you and Happy Valentines’ Day, everyone! … Sandy
